Jake Rye

Owner / Producer / Mixer / Session Bassist

Jake has been a professional in the music industry for 20 years!

His journey began with playing bass for fun as a kid and led to an entire career in music. From touring as a member of Sanctus Real to producing and mixing several billboard charting and award-nominated/winning songs, Jake has worked in almost every aspect of the music industry since 2005, from Michigan to Nashville and back!

In 2013 while splitting time between the studio and the road Jake decided to brand his studio with a name that represented the culture he wanted to help create. The Social Recording Company namesake was created.

Social Recording Company has been the homebase for Jake and will continue to serve both the music industry at large and the local community it exists in!

Jake’s current music projects are his solo project Ghost Kingdoms and his band LO CLOUD which he helped start with Sanctus Real original lead singer Matt Hammitt and former Kutless guitarist and songwriter Nick DePartee

Logan Witte

Producer / Recording Engineer / Session Musician

Logan has been working in music professionally since graduating from the prestigious audio program at Blackbird Studios Nashville “Blackbird Academy” in 2014. There he received mentorship from some of the industries top working engineers.

His strong natural ability to arrange and perform drum parts has given him a lot of opportunities to work as a session drummer for SRC and for his own projects. He is also a sneaky good guitarist, bassist and singer and enjoys making string arrangements.

Logan has not only been working as a producer and drummer. He toured the US for 5 years as a live drummer for the band Ten Talents and has his own music project “Innocent Vigilant Ordinary” which incorporates flavors of Midwest emo, pop punk and singer songwriter.

Logan is currently the studio and touring drummer for LO CLOUD.
